The Holiday22 Window narrates an artful South Pole ices cape, complete with prismatic icebergs and charming penguins. Soft teals and greens, neutrals and pops of magenta on the Southern Lights Art Wall sets the palette for the H22 Window.
A soft color palette of reflective materials bring balance to the hard and angular icebergs, while layers of tinted shimmer and sparkle make the icebergs glow. For a variety of depth and interest the icebergs are both 2D and 3D; painted on the art wall and made from luan with wall spacer shelfs for the penguins to sit as well as smaller freestanding icebergs made from plastic sheathing and luan. The whole composition is finished in layers of wax, icicles and snow drifts to fully transform the window into an iridescent ice scape.
Hand crafted penguins made of cardboard and layered tissue paper, paper tape, and finished in plaster, bring a warm and playful element to the icy scene. Simple details give the penguins a minimalist and sophisticated look while individual head tilts and flippers give each their own personality.

The Holiday22 Front of Store display transforms the South Pole’s night sky into an art installation of iridescent plexi pieces. The organic composition and shimmering finishes represent the fluid movement of the Southern Lights. Soft colors of warm silver, rose, faint lime and light turquoise capture the palette of the iconic Southern Lights.
The pieces are treated with a frost of color or iridescent film with a dusting of color to create a shimmering, modern display. Each plexi piece was individually spray painted and finished with iridescent film by hand. Each piece in the installation was hung individually from fishing line from the ceiling.
