rows of women in couture—chanel ribbons, tweed coats, pearl earrings—gather in posed perfection. but none meet your gaze. in this illusion of ease, a question quietly stirs: what are we performing, and for whom?
beneath the gloss, a girl guides a paper boat through gutter water. gilded paradise reveals itself slowly: a visual sleight of hand. what first appears aspirational becomes a mirror. the beauty stays, but the meaning deepens.
nothing prevents her from leaving
